Sierra Nevada Corporation Displays Training Systems at Interservice/Industry Training Simulation & Education Conference

SPARKS, Nev., December 05, 2014 – Sierra Nevada Corporation's (SNC) displays its flagship mission training systems this week at the Interservice/Industry Training Simulation & Education Conference (I/ITSEC) 2014 in Orlando, Florida. From Dec. 1 - 5, more than 14,000 attendees from around the globe attend the decades-old event where professionals from the Armed Services, Industry, Academia and various Government agencies gather to pursue improved training and education programs.

SNC, a leading-edge mission system integrator and technology solutions company, showcases its platform-specific mission systems, equipment racks and operator consoles, including Horus and Manticore High-Fidelity Simulation Systems, at booth 433. Horus merges image generation with full-feature user interfaces creating detailed, high-fidelity simulations. Meanwhile, the Manticore system provides accurate and realistic visualization of mission scenarios.

In addition, mission training devices, flight training integration systems, partial task trainers, role-player systems, and desktop and classroom trainers are on display to educate and inform I/ITSEC attendees about advances in the training and simulation industry. SNC's mission system trainers offer a mixture of both real and simulated devices to provide training on all mission tasks including communications, navigation, sensors, datalinks, computers, networks and power systems.
